There is a weight loss program called Fat Loss 4 Idiots that has become something of an underground bestseller online. Only available by download, it claims that it can teach you how to easily lose 9 pounds in 11 days. That’s not the half of it though.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots claims that you can lose weight without going on a low carbohydrate or low fat diet –without an exercise program and without starving yourself! So how does it work?

This program is based on something called Calorie Shifting. It’s about changing your diet around in a way that allows your metabolism to burn fat more efficiently. You have a choice of many meal plans, based on your food preferences. This way there is no feeling of deprivation.

Does this diet work? The answer is yes, but since I want to give an honest review here I will mention some things that may not be so great about it. First of all, the claim that you will lose 9 pounds in 11 days is fairly extreme. Not everyone loses this much. Many people who have tried this diet have only lose 4 or 5 pounds. But this is still pretty good.

The other complaint I have with Fat Loss 4 Idiots is that it seems to be implying that you can lose weight without exercising. Now the diet is not telling you to be inactive, but it is likely to attract people who are…well, there’s no polite way to say this…lazy when it comes to exercise. The fact is, you will be healthier and lose more weight if you follow a regular exercise program. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, even if you’d rather believe it!

But overall, Fat Loss 4 Idiots provides a sound, innovative way to lose weight, especially if you’ve tried other diets and failed.
