I’m 6’2″ 285 lbs and enjoy powerlifting. I eat roughly 3500-4000 calories a day as most of its food, and i drink a shake. My first priority is being strong but I also want to lose some bodyfat without losing ANY strength. I always hear powerlifters say you HAVE to eat much more calories and protein to get stronger and losing fat makes you lose some strength. Is it possible for me to lose some fat while still continuing to get stronger? Thanks in advance.
im go to walmart tomorrow morning asap ty for your help ima try ice cream, peanut butter, and strawberries… i feel lke ima throw up lol….if this doesnt work ima stick to regular whey protein fuck weight gainer uhh
@Dangerteh2nd Stick it in a blender with Ice and maybe try Honey, Frozen fruits like strawberries, raspberries, peanut butter. flavored yogurt, ice cream.
@BodyPerformanceTV it tastes like shit i need help adding idk what kinda flavor food to hide the bad taste and still drink it…i need this extra weight. I was wondering what kinda side foods i could add to the powder aside from milk that i could add…
@Dangerteh2nd Hurts your throat? Take it back to where you bought it. The store will get a credit from the manufacturer or wholesaler. It won’t cost the store anything.
i bought this weight gainer at the vitamin store omg omgog i need help….it is chocolate flavor….and tastes so bad…..i mean i can drink whey protein like if nothign but this shit has some weird shit in it…it hurts my throat….I added banana and nesquick to try to take away the flavor but doesnt work!!! I weigh 225 pounds and my body burns about 2500 calories every day buy just resting. If I start a diet that contains about 2000 calories with about 130-150 grams of protein and I do weight lifting and jogging for about 20-30 min 3 times a week. Will I lose weight and build muscles?

This is only correct to a point.
Sure working out with a calorie deficit means you are burning fat, but the energy stored in your body alone isn’t enough to create larger stronger muscles. Body fat doesn’t have any amino acids or vitamins an minerals crucial to muscle growth and strength gain. These come from your diet. The best you could hope for is very slow muscle gain during a weight loss period.
That’s not to say you shouldn’t do it, just don’t expect any massive growth.

lol alright. i got you thanks for your vids very helpful i’m trying to cut weight right now but i wane make sure when i do im not all skin and bones so iv been gaining muscle first and im thinking that by may i should be good to cut and look good

I just bumped into a guy who lost A LOT of weight a few years ago. Sad to see that he put A LOT of it back on.
ever think about the calories that you have to lose could be more protein
Bulking is just a nice term for packing on fat. It’s not excess calories that build muscle it’s increased muscular demand.
IWhile you are correct in the main, this method would involve very slow muscle growth compared to the alternative method which is bulk for a month, than cut for 2 weeks.
Although you are correct this would work for the average male who has NEVER weight trained before, most people watching this video I suspect are a few months if not more in to training, it will not work for them.
