Goji Berries: super juice for weight loss, etc.

by MBadmin on October 26, 2008

Goji juice has become popular as a “super juice” that is very high in antioxidants, B vitamins, aminos acids and trace minerals. The Goji, also called the wolfberry, is a berry that grows in Asia and has been used in traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine for centuries for a variety of healing purposes.

Goji is also reported to have a balancing effect on your glands and nervous system, helping people to lose weight, improving your moods and even promoting the secretion of HgH, or human growth hormone.

I have tried goji and presently take a supplement that includes goji along with other juices. I think it’s a great addition to any overall health or diet plan. However, I would stop short of saying goji or any other single product is the “Fountain of Youth” or a cure-all, as some advertising seems to suggest. I think the main danger of too much hype for a product like goji, which I think actually is very good, is that skeptics can try to discredit it all. Another problem is when people think something is so powerful that they don’t have to worry about the rest of their diet, so long as they take the magic pill! Sorry, but this kind of thing does not exist, at least as far as I know.

So I would definitely recommend goji juice as a very healthy supplement to take along with the rest of a balanced and natural diet! Goji berries can be taken as berries, added to yogurt or cereal or taken as a juice. Genesis brand makes a good, natural Goji juice:
