Hooping For Weight Loss


You may think that hula hoops were a fad from the 1960′s, but they’re back! Today, hula hooping, or just hooping, is being recognized as a great way to have fun, get fit and lose weight. Many hoopers are quite accomplished, and hooping can be considered a type of dance.

You don’t need much space, though you do need a little, and one not too near any delicate objects on a table!

If you haven’t hooped for a while, or if you’ve never hooped in your life, don’t be discouraged if it takes you a while to get the knack. Many people find that at first the hoop just sinks to the ground. It’s like riding a bike, only with less chance of injury.
