Lose weight programs: raw foods diet

You may have heard that a raw foods diet is the healthiest one to follow. To many people, this sounds extreme. It means giving up so many of the foods most people take for granted. Going from a “normal” modern diet to a raw foods diet is probably more extreme that going from a meat-eating diet to a vegetarian one (that includes cooked meatless foods).

This site does not endorse one specific diet -I try to present information that I think has some validity and let you decide. Many people claim that converting to a raw foods diet immediately solved many of their health problems. It also is claimed that a raw foods diet will help you to lose weight. This is very likely, as you are likely to eat more fruits and vegetables and no junk foods, which are mostly cooked.

You don’t have to eat a 100% raw foods diet to see the value in eating raw foods. You can start by incorporating more of them into your diet and see how you feel. This is a popular book on changing over to a raw foods diet:
