Hi I’m Kardena Pauza and I’m going to show you how to make a quick and easy breakfast that will have you shedding extra pounds. I am in a hurry in the morning just like a lot of you are. I have a breakfast for you that is fast and easy to prepare so you can get out the door. Its also packed with lots of nutrients, fiber, healthy fats and anti-oxidants. I’m up at 5 am and have to be out the door, so this works great for me when I’m in a hurry! This recipe is in my Easy Veggie Meal Plans, so you can go take a look there for the exact measurements. First thing I add is sunflower seeds which I have soaked in the refrigerator. Drain the water out and add a little more than 1/3 cup. Add a scoop of shredded coconut, ½ tablespoon of soaked flaxseed (you can use raw, but I prefer mine soaked) and frozen or fresh blueberries. I use a variety of protein powders, but today I’m going to use Rice Protein Powder. I want to add about 12 grams of protein, so I am going to add about 1 tablespoon. I like to add about a dash of mineral salt and cinnamon. I am also going to sprinkle in some raisins in too. This is similar to how many people prepare their oatmeal for breakfast by adding some fruit and cinnamon. For a sweetener, you can add Stevia, Agave nectar or raw honey (someone who is vegan may not want to use raw honey). I’m adding a tiny dash of

You have to try it, it tastes great and you can change the flavors, spices, fruit. Have an open mind and give it a try!
